The Round Valley Indian Health Center is a non-profit corporation established in 1968, designed to offer health care to the people of our community. The Health Center is located in Covelo, a remote valley community in Northern Mendocino County, 25 miles east of Highway 101 and an additional 15 miles from the nearest hospital and emergency services in Willits, California. The Round Valley Indian Health Center provides primary health care to approximately 3,000 people living in Covelo and the adjacent Round Valley Indian Reservation. The Reservation was established in 1856 and is the ancestral homeland of the Yuki Nation and home to six other Indian Tribes. The Health Center staff is dedicated not only to treatment, prevention, and patient education, but also recognizes traditional Indian Medicine and holistic healing.

Anderson Valley Health Center has been in operation since 1976 serving the entire community. We became a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing general and migrant health services in 2011. 60% of our staff is bilingual in Spanish and English and we offer dental, behavioral and medical health services.

RCMS opened in 1977, incorporated and licensed as a community clinic in 1978 and was designated in 1999 as a Federally Qualified Health Center 330(e). The RCMS Urgent Care Department is one of only a few clinics in California that is designated by the state as an Interim Stabilization Facility, allowing the clinic to receive ambulance transports. The RCMS service area is designated by California as one of a total of 56 Rural Frontier Medical Service Study Areas (MSSA) as well as a primary Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA). Since its inception, RCMS has played an integral role in the community and has a track record of developing programs to meet stated community needs. In turn, the success of community fundraising events and campaigns is a testament to the value the community places on RCMS. We are grateful for your support!

Long Valley Health Center offers Behavioral Health Services virtually and in the primary care setting. This service is offered in order to address the health care needs of community members who come in for primary medical care and may also be suffering from a mental health issue, such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks or other health concerns that affect their overall health and wellbeing.

Our MAT Program combines medical care and behavioral health services along with intensive case management. We provide support and education for our patients as they work to overcome their substance use disorders. Whether you suffer from chronic pain or an opiate use disorder, we can help. We work with patients in groups and individually, monitoring everyone closely to help each patient stay on track. As a community-based healthcare provider serving people of all ages and walks of life, we are committed to helping you feel better by providing medical, dental and behavioral care in Mendocino and Lake Counties.
