In support of this mission, CASA of Mendocino & Lake Counties is committed to the following values: – Advocate for the best interests of children. – Provide comprehensive training programs to educate volunteer advocates. – Recruit volunteers to act as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA’s). – Provide ongoing support to CASA staff and volunteers. – Create and maintain public awareness and educate the community regarding child abuse and neglect – Provide advocacy networking and liaison with public and private agencies and individuals. – Act in liaison with, and at the direction of, the Juvenile Court Judge. **Unfortunately unable to advocate for Family Law Cases**

iFoster's mission is to ensure that every child growing up outside of their biological home has the resources and opportunities they need to become successful, independent adults. We provide a free platform of resources for foster care youth, caregivers, and organization.

The mission of the California Office of the Foster Care Ombudsman (OFCO) is to advocate on behalf of foster children and youth regarding their care, placement, and services. The OFCO is an autonomous entity that is empowered to investigate and informally resolve complaints impacting foster youth, increase awareness about foster youth rights, and make recommendations to help support systemic change.

Children need families and families need support. Lake County Child Welfare is partnering with the Foster Neighbor Program.

A Home Within is a national nonprofit that recruits and supports volunteer clinicians who offer free weekly teletherapy to youth currently in care and foster care alumni.
